OBJECTIVE

In light of the financial affects COVID-19 has had on Kinesiologists across the province and country, the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA) has partnered with the British Columbia Assoication of Kinesiologists (BCAK) in order to provide free PDC (professional development credit) opportunities to our active members. 

 

WHO

We are looking for a clinical professional practicing within a Kinesiology related field that is interested in developing a webinar relevant to our members.

 

WHAT

We are open to unique ideas, but special consideration will be made to any clinician offering education on niche lines of work that Kinesiologists could enter or tools that they utilize in the future. Ex: Telehealth Practice, Cardio and/or Respiratory Rehabilitation, Chronic Illness Management, Long-Term Care, Physiological Testing,...

If what you can offer falls outside of the areas outlined above, no problem, we still want to hear from you!

 

DETAILS

Payment will be provided upon completion - $500 for the creation of a 2 hour webinar. Only 2 individuals will be selected.

We require a good quality educational/informative video presentation that:

- Outlines your specialized area of work within the Kinesiology field by describing what you do, how you do it, what got you into this line of work, and the results obtained from your work, or

- Educates Kinesiologists on a tool/application that you use in your line of work and how they could potentially apply it to their practice.
