Free MMI Preparation Resource for AKA Members
Students applying to competitive healthcare programs such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, and other professional programs often face a unique interview format known as the Multiple Mini Interview (MMI). Unlike traditional interviews, MMI stations assess critical thinking, ethical reasoning, communication skills, and professionalism through timed scenarios.
To support students preparing for this stage of the application process, the Alberta Kinesiology Association is pleased to share access to Promptt, an online interview practice platform designed specifically for healthcare program applicants.
What is Promptt?
Promptt is an interactive interview preparation platform that allows students to simulate real interview experiences and practice responding to common MMI and panel-style questions used by Canadian health programs.
The platform helps applicants build confidence, refine communication skills, and develop structured responses through guided practice and feedback.
What Promptt Offers
Why Practice Matters
MMI interviews evaluate more than knowledge — they assess how applicants think, communicate, and respond under pressure. Practicing in a realistic format allows students to become more comfortable with timing, structure their answers effectively, and approach interviews with greater confidence.
