Andrea Marjerrison has been an instructor in the Health Sciences field for nearly 10 years, and began instructing Anatomy, Physiology and Exercise Physiology courses at Red Deer Polytechnic in 2016. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking or any outdoor activity.
Andrea graduated with a B. Kin from Brock University and an M.S. from Ball State University and has been working part-time to complete her Doctorate at Western University. She has been a non-practicing member of the AKA since 2021. Andrea is a CSEP CEP and a CPT Instructor Examiner both for students at Red Deer Polytechnic and external candidates.
Andrea became interested in working with the AKA in 2021 and has since taken on the President role with the Board of Directors. Her primary focus with the AKA is to continue to work toward regulation for Kinesiologists and provide support for the education initiatives.
