Job Description/Responsibilities:
Chart review, interview patients, assist physician, taking accurate notes, assist and prep independent medical assessment reports.
Part time position, with 9 hours days 12-15 days/month.
This is a unique opportunity for a kinesiologist interested in gaining extensive exposure to orthopedic medicine, patient interviewing, physical examination, medical file review, and medico-legal report preparation.
Qualifications Required:
Kinesiology degree, knowledge of human anatomy, strong interview skills, excellent written English skills, ability to review and understand medical records, professional interactions with patients and physicians, strong time-management skills, reliability and punctuality. Experience in physio, sports medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation or another clinical environment is an asset.
Salary and Benefits:
Starting compensation is $30.00 per hour and up, depending on relevant work experience, clinical knowledge, writing ability, and overall skill level. Candidates with significant relevant experience may qualify for a higher starting rate.
